Not sure..dont live n Memphis..i ate here before a basketball game
Idk. A bit of a dive but you'll have a good time if they have a crowd - good food, too.

Not that I saw !
Yes they are. they do have a VIP room downstairs that Is NOT wheelchair accessible. But main dining room and restrooms upstairs are.
Band was good, food was good.Drinks were expensive and served in small plastic cups. Just not the way to serve beer.
Really wanted to like this place. Good prices but the bartender was more interested in combing out her hair behind the bar, which is disgusting, then helping customers. The kitchen closes very early if you are hungry. Could be a great spot if it had some direction, just seems a little lost.
They had awesome service 👏
Dan is easily the best bartender in Memphis. My party of four went in for a few drinks and he was awesome. Saw him later at the Absinthe Room (a must see) and had some drinks. He's an all around fantastic guy. Give this man an award.
Great music and awesome food
What a fun spot. Their cocktail menu is good, and the food we got was great. Had a burger that was sooooo tasty. I had no idea their burgers were that good. Went back later that night and caught a good band. And to top it off, the king himself came in.
Great food, excellent service. Fantastic atmosphere, loved the Beale St. vibe.
Fab place great atmosphere yummy food
Wait time was ridiculous for being a Friday afternoon. There was only one waitress. The fried catfish was good. Gumbo was ok.
This is a really fun place to have a drink, catch some GREAT live music, and get a great snack from the grill. A great relaxing afternoon atmosphere, and a really fun lively evening atmosphere. The two greatest highlights of this clean friendly bar is, the wrestling memorabilia all over the place, and the best damn live music by Chris Gales! Chris Gales is an amazing artist who is a lot of fun! My very first dance with my wife was at King Jerry Lawler's with Chris Gales playing a dance song for us! So much fun!
The server was nice and professional, however the food was horrible. The slaw was spoiled. The pull pork sandwiches were disgusting, we ordered two. The fries were soggy and soaked in grease. 40 dollars for food we bit once. On a lighter note, my jack and coke was nice and it felt great in there. The air conditioning felt nice after walking on Beale!
Had a great time listening to the live band, dancing, drinking and singing. It was a wonderful night!
Their are 2 kings from Memphis Tenn., Jerry Lawler and then Elvis. This place is amazing for any old school wrestling fans. Was able to get a tour of Jerry's man cave in the basement. Big fan!
Awesome place, nice clean nice staff great food great prices awesome wrestling wall decor and memborila good wines and other alcohol drinks, Chris Gales playing his guitar and signing beautiful music. Watch Jerry lawyers wrestling matches at the bar, there is a nice gentleman greeter outside welcoming you to Jerry's lawyer's restaurant at 159 Beale St, open late every night
Incredible live music - Fuzzy Jeffries & The Kings of Memphis with Ice Gibson singing (and dancing). What a show!!
What a great bar.It has a dive bar feel.Tons of pictures of King Jerry Lawler.Could bring back awesome childhood memories.
Good music but service was not good as I only had one beer and waited for waitress for 20+ minutes but never came so we decided to leave. Too bad they only had one waitress and place was packed on Thursday night....
Chris Gayle.. Resident musician is great.. The food and service was mediocre... The atmosphere interesting... Worth it for the music.
Loved it! Outstanding live band (Fuzzy and the Kings), excellent wait staff, and reasonable drink prices. Wasn't going to stop here originally simply because it didn't grab you the way some of the other places along Beale do, but I would have been sorry. Best music and service we had on Beale. Highly recommend
We didn’t eat here, rather just had a couple of drinks and enjoyed the music. Great stop for wrestling fans as their is a lot of memorabilia around the building for you to see...and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet the man himself!
We loved the entertainment..Fuzzy Jeffries and Iyse Gibson...we had a blast!!
Tough to get a drink - I think it was an off night. The music was decent and the drinks were just fine. On a random Tuesday night it was ok with the exception of a wild issue with the bar guys. Did not eat there, but everyone there seemed to be having fun!
Good food and music. If you are a wrestling fan there is some great memorabilia to look at. We have been here several times and love it when Fuzzy and the kings of Memphis play. Such a good time
This place grabbed us as we walked by. The sweet sounds of live music just pulled us in. And I'm happy it did. This place serves up some great food and has an amazing vibe. The live entertainment was top shelf and the food was great. The staff is friendly and makes sure you have everything you need.If you're looking for a place to eat or just have a drink consider this place. I highly recommend it.
Cool memorabilia on the walls, they were playing wwe and football on the Tvs. The live entertainment was awesome he did such a great job! Service was pretty good, our food took awhile to come out. I ordered the double cheese burger, it was a bit dry and looked like a frozen patty, not fresh. Smothered it with BBQ sauce and it tasted even better. The fries could have cooked a little longer. Hubby got the buffalo chicken wings, he wasn't expecting them to be full chicken wings but he said they were tasty. I also got the fried pickles for appetizer and they were really good! It was interesting that some of the servers/busboys (if that's what they were?) were dressed in street clothes and in and out and in and out of the back, I don't know it just seemed a little weird but not something bad. Had a decent time there we really enjoyed the musical entertainment!
Great place to eat and drink with good bands, visited several nights while staying in Tennessee
GREAT MUSIC, GREAT DRINKS and GREAT ATMOSPHERE! WILL RETURN EVERY SINGLE TIME WE GO TO OR THROUGH MEMPHIS!!
Great Live Music. .... a lot of Wrestling memorabilia
If you're into wrestling, you'll dig the atmosphere with all the memorabilia decorating the place! The live music was great, bar tenders were attentive and prices were decent as well
My daughter and I had a wonderful time here listening to great music.
Weird place , slow service, small beer choice, weird plastic cups with Jerry's face on them... Live music was pretty good.
Great service, if you serve yourself. 3 for dinner. Sat 20 min. No one even acknowledged our presence. Had to walk up to the bar, beg for menus, again to order, again for refills, again for a bill. The only employee to ever even grace our table was the bartender who brought our food. Pitiful, at best. Amazing pork jerky, listed on the menu as ribs. Worst I’ve ever had anywhere. I wouldn’t come back here if it was the last establishment on Beale.
Great service, awesome music, very welcoming atmosphere.
Great bar!!! Great service, guests and live music!!!
This place is a must for any wrestling fan and fans of good live music, I had the bbq pork sandwich and the fries were amazing as well as the rest of the meal, friendly staff and really cool pieces of wrestling history. I have been to this place twice and Have enjoyed it both times.
Yucky food & bathrooms. People were nice. How can you open during quarantine and not have soap in the bathroom? I guess that explains why they gave us hand sanitizer at the door. The guys at the door were nice. We had the smoked wings, mozzarella sticks and beer. Thankfully the beer was cold. The cheesesticks were just ok and the marinara was cold. The wings had "his famous sauce" which I totally don't understand. Wings were just meh and barely warm. There was only one other family in there. We only ducked in because the guys outside were friendly and one kid is a wrestling fan and the other wanted to try the wings. Glad we knocked that off our list of things to do!
Average experience. Food was reheated but not necessarily bad for reheated food. Our waitress did not pay attention to us except to take our order and get paid. We had to hunt her down out of our seats twice to get my receipt after I had already paid. I could see it being a fun and lively place to have a drink and listen to music, but if you're looking for a good meal, I would check out a different restaurant.
Seemed dirty the 12oz draft beer was $7. Best thing about it was the band
Staff was attentive and friendly. We prdered through the amazing bartender! Atmosphere was pretty cool, even though I'm not a wrestling fan. Food was awesome (ordered to go). My only complaint is the baked beans and coleslaw sides were in tiny portion cups, typically used for salad dressing, etc. However, I would definitely go back, if we ever make ot back to Memphis!
Great entertainment and environmental! Service was good when you flagged the waitress down. Otherwise she walked by out table a dozen times not stopping once.
Really enjoyed the music, very casual place and Catfish bites were really good.
I was very displeased with my visit to the Kings restaurant. I was there Feb. 15 2020. I have been wanting to eat there for at least a year. I drove to Memphis from Nashville to watch the PBR Velocity Tour and since i finally had a reason to go to Memphis, the only other thing i wanted to do was eat at Jerry Lawlers BBQ. I had high expectations. Soon to find out my expectations may have been too high. i got to the bar at 3:30pm, there were at 30 people in inside and at least 7 people sitting at the bar. The bar looked and felt like it could us a good deep cleaning. I sat at the bar for at least 10-15 minutes before the bartender asked what i wanted to drink or saw a menu. I ordered a BBQ sandwich. It was ok but nothing to write home about. The venu was very understaffed. I thought there would be more memorabilia in there but no. What memorabilia was there could use a good dusting. 90% sure i won't eat there again.
Everything we ordered was cold and gross...ribs, chicken wings, and pork nachos. The only bad food we had while in Memphis. On a positive note our server was super friendly and attentive.
The bands and staff are amazing! The manager was AWFUL to his employees! Yelled at them and argued in front of guests! Blew us off as we were trying to let him know what great service we had! RUDE JERK!
I have been to this place several times and it is always a good experience. Good service and they have really good bands. They have deep fried ribs if you want to try something different.
Great atmosphere, very tasty food and such talented entertainment, a must for any visitor to the city
Great food. Fast service. Accommodated our 20+ person party immediately for lunch on a Friday. Music was amazing too - just what you want when on Beale Street!
I was here for my birthday Tuesday night 3/3/2020 and the service was horrible. My husband and I came in an sat down to listen to the band get some drinks and food. But the waitress never acknowledged that we were there, kept telling me she'd be right with us but never did. She never asked what we wanted to drink, didn't give us any menus or anything. Plus we was the only black couple in the restaurant besides the band members and a lady that was with them. I felt like we weren't wanted in there so we left and went across the street to Blue's City Cafe, and their staff was very polite and friendly. I have to say Jerry Lawler's Staff was not friendly either.
Driving home through Memphis and growing up in a wrestling family. Lawlers was a must. Walked in and was promptly greeted by a very friendly staff. Ordered some drinks and sweet bbq wings. Was shocked when the wings came out as whole wings. They were delicious. Look around at all of the Kings robes and jackets several crowns. cases of belts and awards.
Fun place with fun wrestling memorabilia. Food was ok. Good live music.
